My interest in art began as a child under the influence of my mother. She was an artist that created artwork for major department stores in New York City such as Sears, Macy’s, and Bloomingdale’s to name a few. Most of her artwork was for the fashion industry, used for displays and advertising. I soon found myself drawing and painting pictures all the time. Later in life I met John, now my husband, who introduced me to photography. I was quick to learn how to use different cameras and lenses and soon was developing my own film and making prints in our dark room. I was able to add to my skills by studying with The New York Institute of Photography. My artistic hobbies had to take a back seat since I became too busy raising a family. After our daughter grew up and was on her own, we moved to the Florida Gulf Coast where I once again actively started pursuing my love for art. Finally, after numerous suggestions from people that own my artwork, I have made it available to view and purchase via this website.
